HIIT (Hight Intensity Interval Training)

Also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods.

The goal in this class is to increase cardiovascular capacity and VO2Max in order to become more endurant with every workout. The heart rate should stay close to 85% capacity between 12 minutes and 20 minutes (depending on fitness level) in order to create the E.P.O.C (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption) effect which increases  metabolism activity to keep burning fat at a higher rate for up to 36 hours.

H.I.I.T is a very effective program for whittling away body fat in a short period of time. In this class you will work out in different styles of HIIT, such as Tabata, 3-2-1 intervals and more. They are all intense and fun!
